The late winter/early spring travelogue series has become a celebrated way to start to shake off the cabin fever a little bit and dream about traveling later in the year. Illinois to the Atlantic

We loaded the Jeep with our camping gear, grabbed the road atlas and started heading east. There are only 3 rules to road tripping: 1) No major highways, just county roads; 2) nothing planned, just have an end destination, which for us was Maine; 3) no GPS, only the road atlas.
