Radio Shows on Zoom


Ease yourself into easier times every Sunday in February as you listen to popular radio broadcasts from the Golden Age of Radio.


A narrator will discuss the impacts popular radio shows had on daily life from the 1920s until the mid-1950s, and the influences of radio broadcast programming. This is a four-week program series.


Museum volunteers will entertain listeners by re-creating and bringing several classic radio shows into your home.


Sunday February 7, 2021 at 2pm


Enjoy two 1/2-hour tales from the show "Whistler" and focus on tales of crime and fate. The narrator known only as the Whistler acts as the main character's voice of reason or guilt conscience. The museum will present two shows on this date "Beyond Reasonable Doubt" and "Stranger in the House".

$7 per person each radio show

Museum members receive free admission, and should speak to a Front Desk representative to register at 815-397-9112.


Registration deadline is 4pm on Friday, February 5.

Maximum of 100 attendees.


A zoom link for each program is sent to your email following the registration deadline each Friday prior to the Sunday program.


This is one series of four radio show programs. You must register for each program separately.
