The 2017 season is beginning Friday, May 19th!

We have many of your returning vendor favorites and several new ones to check out!

Our presenting sponsor, Mercyhealth, will be celebrating May’s Stroke Awareness month with public education regarding stroke risk factors, sign and symptoms, and available stroke interventions. Because High blood pressure is the number one cause of stroke, we invite you to stop by for a free blood pressure screening from the friendly experts at Rockford Health System.

RAAC Rockford Area Arts Council booth will be run by Roni Golan, who will be doing an interactive painting experience with music and dancing at South Water Street

Gates: Staffed by River District Association who will be promoting their upcoming events as well as their Historic Walking Tours. The night of the market the River District Association will be offering a Historic Walking Tour from 6:30-8:30 pm. Guests interested should meet at the Joe Marino statue at State and Water Streets by 6:30pm. Suggested free will donation of $5.00. Bring your walking shoes! Also, get information from the River District on their Shop the blocks, Historical Bike Tour, and Pinic en Plein Air Events!

Bringing the family? Check out these free kids activities located at the E State Pavilion entrance!
Rockford Lutheran School will be offering information about their school as well as free face painting!

Northern Illinois Reading Council will have a free reading corner so that market guests can take a look or read through some of books from the 2017 reading list. The books used at the market will be raffled off to local libraries as nominated by the patrons who visit. So don’t forget to nominate your local library!
